Looks like another Lucy:
Have leaned a bit toward the ECMWF but models have been bullish with PoPs in the extended forecast only for systems to fizzle out before producing much rain over the forecast area.

So I guess the humidity is here to stay.. any possibility of a front that will at least make it off the coast to clear out the humidity for a day or two? Sweated my butt off 15 min into doing some yard work lol

There will be a front with relief Thursday evening. With a chance of showers next weekend. The last week has felt like April or May for sure.

I mowed my grass for the 3rd time this weekend. I'm dropping a 4th round of pre-emergence weed killer since October that sure seems more like weed fertilizer! A consequence of a mild, damp winter. I've never seen dewpoints in the upper 60s, near 70°F during the winter as this one. DP is 68°F now, higher than anywhere in the area besides Bay City. At least the breeze was out of the NW earlier this afternoon when mowing the back lawn...errrrr...weeds.

Was in Missouri on business for a couple of days early in the week. So, took in a bit of cool weather.

Not sure what you guys are taking about in regards to the warm temps and showers popping up. We’re at 81 here in Rosenberg with no sign of rain anywhere near here.

Looks like the Spring storm season really kicked off with a bang out west and in North Texas. Multiple tornadoes and decent sized hail. While not a fan of the damage and injuries, I sure do miss seeing those large anvils go up.

The Beaumont area was never really supposed to get much from this system anyway. Mostly everything will be well north and west of you.

I’m getting a decent shower now, finally. Can’t remember the last time I saw and heard real, actual rain.

I also just noticed the highs for next week have been raised to 90 on Wednesday and 91 on Thursday. Seems a little early for 90’s already. Wow.

How about these low temps lately in the low to mid 70’s? Freaking nuts!!

League City is probably not going to get ANY rain out of this. Unbelievable.
