Yes. I was just about to post this. The new development over Wharton County is going to feed right into the main band. Bad situation setting up.

Starting to lose some confidence in the HRRR's handling of this evolution given how it is verifying against radar now.

I'm losing it watching some of the local coverage.

These guys keep using some of their short term models that aren't coming close to what is actually happening real time.

Grrrr....

seems like the main line is trying to cut off a good chunk of the inflow back further north. even though there is some slight back building to the NNW. hope the line can keep pushing south, but those along the coast are getting slammed.

Wow Mike... Glad to hear you are ok and sorry about your home. Remember things are replaceable, lives are not. I lost everything I owned in Harvey and I couldn't imagine dealing with that again.

Stay safe and prayers to all being affected by this catastrophic event.

Yep. I’m right in the middle of it at work. Going to take the long way home today. Not driving on 59. Not safe to do that all the way back to Wharton. That stretch of roadway holds way too much water.

Will the activity that is building back head into Beaumont? My father in law called to say the retention ditch on Dowlen road was getting really full
