Pretty much a no show so far on the sw side of the viewing area. Clouds have moved in now and the atmosphere seems to have stabilized so I doubt we see anything down here today.

We're getting a taste this evening. Just in time as the lawn was looking a tad dry and one of the sprinkler system sectors has a head out.

I'll take some clouds and rain from the wave this week. My daughter gives me a hard time about wanting clouds and periods of rain all summer. Anything to keep that utility bill low!

Just until football season.

Fire blight? Yeah, I have to spray with antibiotics every year to keep the remaining pear tree green.

Ran into the storms that had pushed off the coast yesterday about 30 miles offshore out of Freeport. Blinding rain, I'd guess winds up to 40-45mph, lightning and seas quickly built to 6-7'. Thankfull to have on board radar, and Sirius Satellite Weather as we were able to divert 10-12miles to east and come through a "weaker" spot. Really started to bow out just as we had punched through, and I am sure glad we didnt have to go through that. Fishing was good before that though lol!

After the wave and July 4 holiday, we look high and dry in July on NWS, GFS, CMC, Ensemble until a potential backdoor front in mid July.

Get ready for reality after this week.

Had a brief shower here in Stafford this morning. Was just enough to make it hot and steamy. Bleh! Trimming a tree, am drenched just picking up the tree branches that the hubby had cut.
