Here in beaumont. Hefty rainbands today, picked up close to 3" today. If that continues for the next couple of days, we will reach our est 10-15" from harvey. Grounds are now saturated and wint take much for major flooding to begin after today. From what i hear, our days of heavy rains begin tonight into Tuesday.

Seeing strong rotation and hook echo 25 miles SSW of Bellaire. May pass just west of Fresno in the next 10 min or so. Next in line would be me. Strongest rotation yet.

Question. Ive noticed since lastnight the worst of the rains have been the outer rainbands in our area and how they expand in size just to the west of hou as they continue NE. Around the core, no severe rains at all. Just light to every once in a while, moderate. Why this far away are the rains from harvey so much more severe than around the core area and they expand in size? Youd think they would get the worst rains of all! Just curious.

It's getting pretty festive in Rosharon. Tons of lightning and the wind is kicking up a lot. Radar has some deep red in it.

Couldn't get a visual but I'm pretty sure something tornadic just went right by me. Amazing shift in the winds and big temp drop when it happened.

Gotta go out and try to get a pump turned on. Water is getting too close to the back door. Never done this. At least the rain just stopped.

We just got hammered in Stafford. Our street looked like a river in less than 15 minutes. Had an issue with the water draining in the yard, hubby had to hammer out the neighbor's fence while I cleaned out the debris. Wow! don't let your guard down.
