The wind just shifted here, gust from the NW with the gust front. The main line is still a little to my northwest but fresh towers are blowing-up right on top of me now.

really bizarre looking clouds around Cypress, wish I had a good camera to take video - sunshine in the distance is making some nice shots

Yes, it's bright orange to the west and dark to the right. The orange is probably being enhanced by dust coming in with the dry line.

Wow. The main line is evaporating literally as it gets here. Same on the rain here. Some light rain with occasional big drops, but it just can't ever get going. The gust front just outran the storms for me (again).

Edit - and in a flash, it's over here.

The line of grey with the ragged edge and the little tails hanging down?

Had a few minutes of decent wind and rain so far, but now it's that creepy humid stillness.

Ditto Ed. But we do need to be careful for what we wish...

It appears from the forecast that the remainder of March 2014 will go out like a lamb.

What a wonderful weather weekend we had!

This morning I did not think that today's Family Circus cartoon panel applied to us, but now I do see the wind is blowing a bit.
