I can assure you we had mostly rain, then freezing rain, then mostly sleet and a changeover to snow for a period of time.

We are currently getting light sleet w/small snow flurries in the mix - 290/Gessner area.

He has sour grapes. We have all had fun with the snow and sleet. A rare event for us...Enjoy it if you got it...

Can confirm light sleet mixed with rain here in Dickinson.

Sleet is mixing in with the rain in League City.

Yeah, it was sleeting enough for me to hear it hit the windows but it's stopped...but now little tiny flakes, and I do mean tiny but yeah. Not sure about Friendswood but I'll try to post a pic

If I remember right, yesterday he was telling everyone its going be a LA storm! Even though he wont admit it, he's eating his words now! Anyway....back to weather.....Beaumont! Cold! Ice! Tons of sleet falling, but as of yet no snow, but the moisture that looks to have produced Houston's snow is headed east towards the Golden Triangle area. we sha'll see!

Is it me or is there more precip developing out west.. could be virga though.

Ok, on to the next event! During these two events the elusive feathery snowflake has stayed in hiding. Will the next big front showing up in the extended be the one that gives us all a blanket of snow? Stay tuned!!

Just a minor gripe bout this event. Although moisture amounts was sort of iffy, the one thing we were assured was that temps would be solidly below freezing for most of this event. Clearly that didn't happen. From a weather enthusiast stand point I can admit I'm slightly disappointed. I had higher hopes but none the less from a safety stand point I'm glad it's not worse.

Starting to get some light snow mixing with sleet at 59 and west loop

I am receiving waves of light-moderate sleet here in Baytown with light snow flurries mixed in, too, from time to time.

Moderate sleet with snow mixed in at our office south-southeast of Hobby airport.

Dixie Farm Rd. at I45 S- 32 degrees, dewpoint @ 30. Freezing rain started about a hour ago, now mixing with small sleet pellets and a small flake or two every 10 seconds or so.

Ice thickness on metal and plastic in backyard not too far away from equaling the amount I saw Friday. As I finish typing I can hear the sleet really starting to come down now...

Now we wait and see if the roads and bridges are frozen after the freeze tonight.
