Here's hoping hail doesn't some to Spring. My homeowner's insurance carrier got out of the local market and I'm between carriers until tomorrow. :cry:

We had some rain, lightning, and thunder earlier. Now, it is the eerily silent, the calm before the storm.

You'll need to keep an eye on the storms to your west, however it does appear that the worse may pass a little to you south. Either way, rain and lightning is a good bet.

Outflow boundary looks to have cut the inflow to the line and is currently responsible for its weakening.

I have also seen lightning off in the distance thus far tonight here in Baytown. I am still wondering if any of those severe thunderstorms are going to make it this way prior weakening tonight or early tomorrow morning prior sunrise.

By the way, in case any of you have not noticed, some of that lightning has a orange or copper hue to it.
