A lot of lightening with this complex. Mostly moderate to brief heavy rainfall and some gusts. My yard is grateful!

Hey srainhoutx have checked out the Hou-Gal NWS with the time lapse on the front page? Looks like a meso low is forming in Fort Bend and extreme W Brazoria County with bowing beginning.

I did Katdaddy. This meso has been spinning all day! Brazoria and Galveston Counties need to be watching carefully.

N and N Central Brazoria, NW Galveston, and SE Harris Counties look to be impacted by the developing bow echo associated with the meso-low.

I would not be surprised if some parts of the Houston area see up to 8 inches of rain by the time it is over. Doppler radar has estimated that some areas have gotten 5 to 6 inches of rain so far.

That's not good - too much too quickly. We still haven't received any significant rainfall here on the east side...waiting for the showers to move this way.
