weather today in southeast Texas today is outstanding.....fair skies and mid 60's. Too bad I'm inside watching USA- Canada

Will be interesting to see how much of the white stuff falls across the metroplex. 4km WRF keep the bulk of the precip south of I-20....although the NAM shows a heavier band of snow just to the north and west of DFW.

the new NAM is slightly cooler.....going to get real tricky around the lukin area. forecast soundings are right on the rain/snow threshold for them.

I was looking at the nyc metro area and they are getting pounded right now.....coastal low bombing off the coast. What exactly is a trowal wxman57? Warm air wrapping into the low? I've heard this term a lot lately......

forecast soundings and progged thickness values per the 00z gfs continue to indicate just a cold rain for houston metro
