Re: August: Stalling Front Late Week. Increasing Gulf Moistu
My yard has not had one drop of rain since that rainy week in early July....What makes it frustrating is it appears the clouds start building over the bay with the sea breeze and pass over us and then let loose with rain once they make it to the beltway or loop.

Re: Tropical Storm Debby. Warnings Issued For LA/AL/NW FL
I certainly don't want to deal with a potential hurricane threat so this new flip..or is it a flop...is kind of a relief to me. My yard has missed any and all rain the past few weeks but I guess if I have to choose, the sprinkler option will be the lesser of two evils... edit to add...I am not letti...

Re: TD 5 Gulf Of Mexico
Looks like lots of rain for the central Gulf coast....Kind of like an Allison type storm that wont go away....I saw the earlier posts of a model sending TD5 in our direction...Not sure I get how that would happen nor am I really concerned. I did hear the guy on FOx News this morning say we could get...

Re: Invest 94L Near Florida
This morning I was kind of paying attention to the news on KTRK 13 and the met said something about the high shifting towards the east allowing more gulf moisture to reach us by mid week...I don't know if he was referring to this blob or something else....

Re: Invest 94L Near Florida
I know my area could use some rain. Cracked everything. But I guess all this will depend on where the high pressure is sitting and how much time this blob sits over water. Will be interesting to see later models and discussions.

Re: Spin in the eastern Gulf..
That blob does look good, even over land but it seems parts of it are being pulled apart from the ULL over by Florida..

Re: July Weather Discussion
The rain amounts have been so much less in my part of town. My grass is getting crunchy. The other day we were in Bear Creek for a golf tourny and we were slammed with a huge storm dumping lots of rain...Drive home in rain....Get to LaPorte...not even a puddle...Been like this most of July. We had o...
