I remember several winter events that completely surprised us. Have a feeling this may be one of them.

NWSLC keeps inching down my temps for Beaumontfor Monday and Tuesday. Started with highs at 45 and lows 24. Now they have high at 40 and low of 21. Have a feeling it will go lower as we get closer. Looks like many stations are calling for just a glancing blow. A one nighter of extreme temps. Im sure they are tip toeing before they pull the trigger since we are still 7 days out.

Well today wasnt sooo bad. I was expecting all hell to break loose. Thankfully it stayed in check. Squall line shortly then done. On to the potential winter weather.

Also, why has no one issued a tornado watch for today with the threat of tornados?

We have a local met who is now saying the dynamics of todays threat are now more towards Louisiana than Setx now. If that is true, nothing really happened. Is this true?

Getting really concerned here in the triangle and beaumont area on todays severe weather event. Love me some bad weather, but tornados I can do without. Evening into Thursday night for Beaumont

Not impressed with todays system. All week leading up was talk of several inches for many and possible street flooding from heavy rain. Wheres the heavy rain? . So far the “main event” is the same ol light mist sprinkles. Why cant we get a heavy rain anymore? Sheesh! …next.

Looks like rain will be ending soon next few hours. Is it supposed to start new convection today?
