Sudden wind shift to WNW. Temp has dropped 10 degrees in 5 min. Fair amount of shear in cloud movement. Broken line of storms to W and continuing to head almost due N.

A couple of impulses/surface lows E of San Antonio moving generally E to ENE will need to be monitored as we get a bit of heating before the front arrives. Keep an eye to the SW and W of Harris County as the analyzed 997mb low heads our way. http://radar.weather.gov/lite/N0R/EWX_loop.gif Thanks Sra...

Saw small vortex/funnel cloud just W of Bryan headed NNE with little descent below a modest wall cloud and weak. Spin barely noticeable. Radar up though.

Fear the shear.

Re: December 2015 - Wet & Stormy Christmas Holidays Likely

That tongue of flurries approaches Huntsville and Conroe. As the low tracks up - 20-30 miles S/E and a slight delay could ...

Re: December 2015 - Warm Up/Late Week Storm System

This is way long range forecasts are mostly for fun. This is for Dec 19. Done on Dec 5. If you look at it today for Dec 19 it's 35 deg warmer.... Re: November 2015: Powerful Storm/Severe WX Possible Early W

Well, this is more a question for Srain, Wxman 57, Andrew and the like, but my guess is that the dynamics (shear and such) moved more Eastward and Northward... Plenty of action in Brazos and Grimes Cos. About 2.33 in of rain, gust winds, two tornado warnings in the very early am. Some wind damage. ...
