Re: JUNE 2015 - Warm Weekend/Rain Chances Return Next Week

awful news

I feel like we should just accept that half of the river/lake/beach weekends this summer are going to be rained out

Re: October 2014: First week cold front?

Would love to see it. The coming front looks like a very short lived dud.

Re: September 2014: Wet and Unsettled Week Ahead

This is what stinks about tropical storm season; when you're dealing with one of the "unexciting" ones, it gives you nasty, muggy warm weather, occasional showers maybe, and boxes out cold fronts for 7-10 days.

Re: Fall 2014 - Winter 2014-2015

I'd be interested in hearing what is expected relative to last winter, which is the coldest we'd seen in a while...particularly in DFW. Are indications that this winter could be similar, if not colder? Could be in line for the second July "cold front" in two weeks, so makes me think we cou...

Re: July 2014: Warming Up/Showers Possible Mid Week

Would it be reasonable to assume that one (and soon to be two) cool fronts making it into at least North Texas in Late July/August means we are on pace for another cold winter? Or do the two not necessarily correlate.

Re: July 2014: Stalled Front/Increasing Rain Chances Next W

What is the date cut off between a late season cold front (Winter 2013-14) and an early season coldfront (Winter 2014-15)?

I'd guess that, unofficially, its around July 4?

Re: February: Showers/Storms Possible Through Early Next Wee

I know we've been spoiled because of the last few years.....but Dallas haven't even had a day where the high temp stayed in the 30s...at least not that I remember. In a normal winter, you get at least an event or two where high's stay in the 30s, don't you?

Re: February: Will It Include A Taste of Winter?

Pete Delkus is one of the more well known mets here in Dallas. He periodically posts random musings on Facebook. Bad news for us Winter fans: Pete Delkus Here's something to think about. There’s a good chance that the risk of a major Arctic blast moving into North Texas has ended. It can’t be comple...
