Re: March 2024

I think it’s been about a month since I posted ‘get ready for a mostly dry, cap-filled spring’ Seems to be going as expected. Get your sprinklers and hoses ready. Yep. Sprinklers are being engaged today (my rain dance). We're right on the edge of the cap in CLL. More fertilizer and weed killing fir...

Euro AI has some coast low forming. GFS hammers us with a series of unsettled events. CMC is more of what I would expect. The Ensembles bring in rain, but late in the forecast period. https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/analysis/models/gfs/2024030912/gfs_apcpn_us_64.png https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/...

Re: March 2024

The sun is out. Temperatures in the 50s with a cool northerly breeze. DP = 41°F. An ideal day for CLL. A near carbon copy for tomorrow.

A/C and sprinklers are off, although I may run the sprinklers tomorrow after some yardwork.

Enjoy it while it lasts!

Re: March 2024

The front just blew through and redefined broken line of showers.

For a moment it looked dark and like it was going to pour buckets. Now, Lucy has pulled out the football again.

Re: March 2024

June bugs out in full force already. If that's not a testament to how crappy this winter was. Haven’t seen any here. Mostly mosquito hawks here. Unfortunately, mosquito hawks don't eat mosquitos. They eat veggies - and can be a pest in agriculture and just annoying in gardens. They don't bite or st...
