Tomorrow doesn’t really look like much of anything. Tuesday should be the day, particularly Tuesday evening into early Wednesday.

Re: April 2024
Weird how the CPC has a bullseye on S TX but the models have it over NE TX, AR, and LA. The CPC map is referring to next weekend and beyond, not this weeks storm system.( it starts on April 13th) Most of the rain for SE Texas will come with the MCS Tuesday overnight/Wednesday morning.Especially for ...

I can’t even tell you the last time I saw winds at my place over 50mph or hail bigger than a marble. Been several years. We’ve been lucky.

Re: 2024 Hurricane Season Discussion
I’m tired of seeing so many people say “oh they say it’s gonna be busy every year”. That narrative is lazy garbage and people need to educate themselves before they comment on something. Drives me crazy!

Cap ture.PNG This moist airmass is forecast to remain in place over the south-central U.S. on Tuesday, as an upper-level low moves through the Desert Southwest. The moist sector is forecast to remain over the southern Plains and lower Mississippi Valley. The most likely location for convective deve...

Re: April 2024
As of right now it’s looking like most of the rain for next week will stay north and east of us. Not sure what the CPC is seeing.

Re: April 2024
Cpv17 I just hate it because my family spent so much time making plans and ordering a bunch of stuff for the eclipse, like a big viewing party and all that, just for that all to go down the drain lol, texas weather sucks It’s just really sporadic. Re: April 2024
There’s a big difference between the GFS and the Euro for next week. The Euro is significantly wetter. GFS seems progressive and sends most of the rain east of us. The ensembles are about the same too.

Re: April 2024
I hope the weather works out next Monday but it’s not looking great. Honestly, unless you’ve invested something into the event (hotel, camping, etc) we don’t have anything to complain about. It’s a bonus event for us. Think about folks from places like Germany who invested thousands to fly here. Th...

Re: March 2024
We don’t need any rain. We need at least two more weeks of dry weather. Well, most of us anyway.
