Re: December 2017: Pattern Change/Much Colder Weather Possib

Likely overdone, but with a 500mb cold core upper low near El ...

Re: December 2017: Pattern Change/Much Colder Weather Possib

Even with this incoming strong front, so far it looks like my prediction of 33 on Oct 29 will still hold as the coldest day this season, at least here in Orange. Don't think this front will break that. I said that 33 on Oct 29 could be the coldest day we see all season...that would be something.... :D

Re: November 2017 : Seasonal Temperatures Return Mid Week

I just saw a report on the weather channel about a Greenland block setting up that "might" help give us a shot at cooler temps around Thanksgiving time frame. I know it's still a ways off Anyone care to elaborate on that? Thanks!

Re: November 2017 : Seasonal Temperatures Return Mid Week

I got a gut feeling that the cold snap we had back in Oct might be the about coldest we see this year. I hope I'm wrong.

Re: October 2017 - Early Week Cold Front/Warm WX Returns

Our cold front is making progress this morning and should arrive in College Station around midnight and off the Coast shortly after sunrise tomorrow morning. I see Winter Storm Warnings are up for the Southern Rockies and both Denver and Raton Pass into Northern New Mexico are reporting light snow ...
