Re: July 2020
Im getting nervous about qpf covering the beaumont Port Arthur area more and more each day. Weve had 4-5” of rain here since yesterday and so far qpf has us for another 4-5” when the storm approaches. Which is manageable, but if it keeps climbing, I think once again we will be in trouble. Maybe not ...

Re: July 2020
What are the chances this storm comes ashore on the upper texas coast rather than lower to mid?
Remember, most storms are notorious for marking its first landfall with models then does the infamous shift eastward as days go on... We will see.

Re: July 2020
These type storms usually die down in evenings then explode overnight. Much like Allison, Humberto, Harvey and Imelda.

Re: July 2020
A lot of talk about this L obviously catching some spin and getting its act together. Possible 07 Humberto? Perfect spot too with curvature of the land and warm sea temps! I guess anything is possible.

Re: June 2020
Just seems like any time flooding is advertised and all over social media, it never verifies. Its the pop up unexpected storms that dump 7-10” of flooding rains. Here in Beaumont, Sunday NWS showed 80% heavy storms for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We had more rain on Monday then this who...

Re: June 2020
I’m already counting down the days until October lol. I think we’ll get hit by a storm this year. Going out on a limb somewhat with that, but I truly believe it. I’ll eat my crow if not. Is the euro and gfs still showing that tropical wave in the Caribbean down the road? Or is that vanished too?
