Re: December: Rains Wednesday-Thursday/Active Holiday Ahead?

If SE Texas receives snow then, hey, that will be terrific. If not then, hey, no big deal. I will be shocked to see snowflakes falling through the air and land on various surfaces if a winter weather event truly does materialize.

Re: November: Warm Days/Cool Nights & Showers Late Weekend?

I think that Eric Berger said a few weeks ago, if not longer, that Texas is now only 66% in an exceptional drought due to these weekly weather systems bringing Texas very much needed rainfall.

Re: October- Rain Chances Sunday & Another Cold Front

Does anyone know why certain types of trees, for example: pine trees and certain oak trees are more susceptable to dying than other types are?

No doubt that Mayor Anise Parker is probably getting closer to raising the water restriction to stage 3.

Re: September Weather Discussion

Yes, cooler temperatures will be a welcome relief to many residents here in Texas, but I think that rain will be much more so. No callousness to anyone.

I do not want to think of what Texas will or could be like this coming Autumn and Winter if the drought and wildfires pesist into those two seasons.
