Re: September: Heavy Rainfall Potential/95L & Manuel Moistur

About a half inch here so far...rains pretty hard but only for a few minutes. Happy it's not flooding though, and happy to get some rain period.

Re: Lawn and Garden Discussion...

A good rule of thumb when watering trees...

When you set out your sprinkler, put an empty tuna fish can in the yard.
When the can is full you have watered that section enough. Time it and you will know how long to run the water.

Wish I could forget Ike. In this video, at the 4:07 mark a porta-potty where my ex house was...and in the same shot a little further down the street my RV that we lived in for about 7 months after. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GblAshibsRk More in Seabrook after Ike. They had K9"s searching fo...

Re: August - Increasing Weekend Rain Chances. Watching The G

Oh good lord AZ..READ YOUR OWN POST! "the forecast was for a 30% chance of "scattered" showers". It does not mean 30% of the area will get rain. it means there 30% chance that a rain cloud will drop rain somewhere..hence the word "scattered". So basically, the predictio...

Jason...that is why I just finished watering my yard. I hope it rains...but lately whenever a lot of rain is expected it just simply does not happen. No one fault...it's weather.

Did you get any rain? It's still raining here in La Porte...

Not really..really light rain for the most part. Only enough to fill one rain barrel as of this am. It seems to split right over my area. Nothing by the Bay here :( .
