The KHOU weather forum has been my weather home for the past years. Dan was one of, if not the member i had the most respect and interest in rea...

Re: TD Alex. 85 Miles S of Campeche. 35 MPH/1000 MB

Alex should become a man in the next 24 hours. Probably hurricane by Monday Night/Midnight. IMO, We probably could stick with what models we have now. The motion of Alex over the next 24-36 hours will give us a MUCH better idea where he is headed. Tonight we will need to watch what motion he takes o...

Re: A Favor Neeeded From Our Weather Forum

I've been doing this for 30 years now, so I should be able to help you out. How are your grades in math and physics? My grade are just OK, Lower B in both, but they are honor classes. :/ If you could help me out, I just need to send about 10 questions asking about the education required, the possib...

Re: February Weather Discussion. WSW Issued! Snow/Sleet/Rain?

AggieEngr04, I am about 20 Minutes away from hopefully being graced with a deep green cell. Thats pretty moderate. I would hope its picking up some medium flurries. I will let you know what i find.... This is a good test to see exactly which colors mean what on the radar during certain times. EDIT: ...

Re: February Weather Discussion. WSW Issued! Snow/Sleet/Rain?

Question... There is abit of green/white showing up on the radar from around I10 to about Richmond. Is this producing any snow> Will it track towards pasadena at all? Im glued to the radar on this complex. Looks like anyone between Alvin and Humble will get something if this stuff is reachin...

Re: February Weather Discussion. WSW Issued! Snow/Sleet/Rain?

As this low wraps around, it would not surprise me to see some isolated flurries throughout all of the viewing area.

One right now entering N FT. Bend County... A little west of Katy, heading for ME *Dreams*

Re: February Weather Discussion. WSW Issued! Snow/Sleet/Rain?

Re: Cold weather on the way next week maybe wintry precip too!?

Todays rain is almost out of here, about time. Anyone get any decent amounts overnight?

Drying out over the weekend will be nice, i wonder if next week will give us some excitement, its been quite a while since we had something other than boring cold Seattle weather..

Re: Cold weather on the way next week maybe wintry precip too!?

Yep GFS shows a ice storm for us folks in southeast texas with snow further off to the north and west in central Texas of course its to far off to be speculating on precip types, but it is hard to ignore the consistency of the GFS and also how the event keeps pushing upward in time instead of backwa...

Hey guys, was that confirmation code secure or what?

I've entered hundreds online, but this new PhpBB is really strict on those. Took me 3 tries!
