I'll be in Weimar Christmas Eve Night and Christmas Morning, then to CS then to Longview on Christmas... Hoping NE TX can get that freeze line to inch farther east.

yep, I'm getting the hell out of Houston for a couple weeks in January and going 'Severe' Winter Weather Hunting... Probably Colorado, but I may go into Montana or Washington and look for 72 plus inchers deep in the mountains.

I should have prefaced that I was talking about January and not actually New Years Day.
A few promets out there are noting a 'major stratwarm' that will cause a severe cold outbreak for much of January. They are relating it to the winter of 1984-1985.
