Dr. Neil said he is concerned about how slow the storm is moving and that it's moving more to the north than the west, indicating weak steering currents. i am not completely sold on the south texas landfall just yet i think the speed right now and the incoming front and the general direction of alex is giving the models a hard time. thats just my opinion.

in my opinion the slower this storm moves the more of a chance the upper texas coast and possibly sw louisiana will be in its path
