Re: April 2024

Cpv17 Has nothing to do with that at all, for me personally severe weather has never really been a passion of mine, tornado went through my town, lost water for 6-8 hours, yeah i think anyone would take a nice long break from wanting any thunderstorms around, personally i could care less about the ...

Re: April 2024

Storm reports locally. Could have been worse, looks like the moderate tornado risk to the east of us isn't panning out also which is good news. 😉 Cabbpture.PNG Capdture.PNG I’ve noticed a lot of the risks for severe weather aren’t really panning out. Not that I’m complaining, just something I’ve no...

Re: April 2024

Some places around the Newton and Jasper area north of Beaumont look to have gotten 12-18” of rain… wowzers! The models sure didn’t show that happening.

Re: April 2024

Incredible storm last night! The wind, rain, and lightning/thunder was nuts!! Picked up 3.19”. Models underestimated that event. Major severe weather outbreak looks to be on the table for Oklahoma and NTX next Tuesday.

All modes of severe weather are on the table over the next several hours. Going to be an interesting one! Big change in the models from what they were showing 12 hours ago.

Re: April 2024

I bet most of the action will stay to the north like yesterday as the mesocales agree with this idea, im not overly concerned today, maybes tuesday morning could be the time to watch, but overall today should be quiet here locally, central and north texas are a different story though Yes, the actio...

Gonna be interesting to see how far south that line will develop early tomorrow morning. You’d think it would be more of a wind threat than hail since it looks to be a squall line.

I’m thinking as we progress later into spring, we’ll have a better chance at these systems moving further south.

Dixie Alley primed to get smacked hard tomorrow.
The 12z HRRR is running now. The 6z looked less threatening for folks south of I-10.

The SPC already has a day 7 risk for the Texas panhandle. So it looks like an active severe weather season could be setting up.

Hopefully I can get that. We could kinda use it. Looks much better north of me. https://i.postimg.cc...
