My initial observations looking out across TX and OK today are that the airmass is not as cold as the models had been predicting a few days ago. This is why the models have trended a little warmer with temps in the past few runs. I'm not too hopeful of seeing any snow in central Houston tomorrow. C...

NWS still shows my area with a 70% chance of Wintey MIX/Frezzing Rain/Sleet and Snow for the day tomorrow. then drops to 20% tomorrow night. High Tuesday only 32. SO they must feel confident. Wen can we expect these soundings from A&M, I saw where UH is sending balloons Tomorrow.

Should we stop watching models about now and start watching real data as the event nears? Models are but a tool. Let me go to a different forum and see what the smartest guy on that sub-forum thinks.
