Re: November 2015: Severe WX/Heavy Rainfall Possible
A bit worrisome to see deep tropical moisture down in the NW Caribbean with a pesky upper trough to our West. Additional mid/upper moisture continues to stream ENE out of the Pacific. Tropical moisture associated with that Pacific sub tropical jet extends to Hawaii. We will see if the short term gu...

Re: October 2015 - Heavy Rainfall/Coastal Low/Flash Flood Li
It does appear (at least to my eyes) the western edge of the rain has considerably slowed its progression to the east on the radar. Will be watching as the night goes on.

Re: October 2015 - Heavy Rainfall/Coastal Low/Flash Flood Li
Thanks Andrew and Srain. So I guess it depends on where the boundary slows down in response to the low developing? The low sure does look to be getting itself together rather quickly. What do y'all think will end up happening? More rain further east than anticipated? The HRRR seems to think this isn...

Rip,
I am looking at this one:
http://weather.cod.edu/satrad/nexrad/in ... X-N0Q-1-24
I am just curious as to if it is going to fill in more out west or if the boundary may have arrived a little earlier than anticipated. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Re: October 2015 - Heavy Rainfall/Coastal Low/Flash Flood Li
Looking at the radar trends, it seems like the rain may be done for me after this last band moves through in the next hour or so.. Seems the edge of the rain is already moving in from the West. Is more supposed to build back towards the West? It looks to me this may be more of a problem for the folk...

Some pretty significant rains moving in across Brazoria and into Fort Bend counties. This should continue and fill in eastward.

Pretty much the low right over us and drops copious amounts of rain. Will see if the trend continues or if this is just an outlier.stormlover wrote:gFS 06 run says other wise lets see what the run shows at noon
