I remember 2011 being brutal, but I think it was a “dry heat”.

Last June was really bad as well, but I agree, this one is likely up there at the top. Very well could be the hottest given the dew points keeping lows in the 80s several nights.

I’d bet the desert keeps creeping East as time goes on. Just in a short window, college stations has been under their yearly avg rain and in some cases around half of their yearly avg. No steering and storms popping and meandering around. Just following the easiest source of energy until they burn out. At the very least.. Yea seeing that outflow on radar DoctorMu. Nothing worse than watching these come in and an outflow races out in front. Hoping something pops as it gets closer down here. Guess we’ll find out in the next hour or so

Me too. It’s been amazing all day except when the power went out for an hour or so during a windy storm around 11 this morning. Luckily it was only 73 outside so it wasn’t a big deal. I’ll take this all summer long
