Re: January: 2 Strong Fronts & Wintry Michief Potential
If IAH will be hovering around Freezing, you can bet my area of Montgomery County will be 4-7 degrees colder. I may not be driving into the city on Friday. I'm S Montgomery County but it would probably be colder than Bush - oh, please let there be a "snow day!" I could use a day off from ...

Re: January: Pleasant Work Week. Marathon Forecast
so what do these models and long range forecasts mean for us who enjoy the cold weather? The last post I read dealing with the long range forecast seem to indicate we wouldn't get anything when the next break hits.

Re: January: Warmer/Zonal Progressive Flow/Storm Chances Fri
i'm sorry, but this weather is not "extraordinary." The weather people are thinking 73 in JANUARY is amazing.
The long range models have to have some kind of cold weather coming to visit again.

It's 30 at my house.......I agree with those that have said it's not truly fun if it's just dry and cold....would love a snow flurry or two. I know it's bone chilling cold, but I'm already getting worked up about the next one!

Winter yea!! :) live in apartment so no plants to cover - will leave faucet(s) dripping over night. Can't wait for next big cold front! Wish I could bottle this for when the 100+ degree ...

Re: January: Will A Cold & Stormy Pattern Return?
There are some significant changes via the 12Z Euro today. That model now suggests the much colder anomalies both in the temperatures expected and the placement of the mean trough axis is further W and S by hour 144. I'm always trying to learn what the language on here means; can you tell me what t...

Re: December: Rain/Storm Chances This Weekend/Christmas Outl
Can someone tell me what that means for the cold air? Does that mean it will not cool down as much as they thought it would? That would be a bummer.
