Re: Security Error

Also just an FYI the clock for the forum should be updated too. Time on here will actually reflect the current time and not ~15min off.

Re: November 2019: Cold Front Thursday/Stronger Arctic Cold Front Monday

18Z GFS coming in not as cold. The front that’s coming in now I noticed had a hp of about 1043mb when crossing over the border. The GFS is showing a 1044mb hp now with next weeks front. Judging by that alone, shouldn’t temperatures be similar with next weeks front as the one now? GFS isn't showing ...

You wanna have some fun? Look at the 0Z GFS....
That 00z GFS sure did raise an eyebrow, didn't it? Amazing how much cold air is brought south so early in the year.

Any chance of severe weather Thursday? I see we are likely gonna get thunderstorms
Models aren't showing much CAPE or a wind environment that would support severe weather. I think we should be in pretty good shape.

Re: October cold front--time for change....

Man mowing the lawn today was a little rough. Luckily, it is looking more and more likely our "first" front will push through next Monday/Tuesday. Interesting to note how aggressive. the ECMWF has been over the last couple of runs. Could we flirt with a low in the upper 40s?

Re: September 2019 - Wet Weekend Likely

Still not seeing a "true" cold front yet on the models. The GFS was indicating a strong cold front during the beginning of October for several runs earlier this week, but that has since disappeared for the most part. Now the GFS and ECMWF, for the most part, are pushing the colder air east. Looking ...

Re: September 2019 - Imelda Weakens. Flash Flood Watch/Heavy Rainfall Threat

I don't know about the atmosphere being "overworked". Tropical air masses behave differently. The 'atmosphere' above us is being replenished by the circulation pulling-in the air from the west. That line up towards Hunstville is holding together and I see some cells trying to fill-in again along 29...
