Re: August 2021: Hurricane Ida/Northern Gulf Coast Threat

Is it me or does Ida look like she’s going street west the last few frames.

Very annoying but. I couldn’t even figure out how to post a pic on here. Old technology.

Re: February 2021: Arctic Outbreak/Winter Storm Warning ⚠️

We had a nice little dusting here in spring. Could have been so much more if the warm nose hadn’t been so stubborn.

No snow yet in spring, just sleet. I am really hoping this warm nose goes away so we get snow!

Re: February 2021: Arctic Outbreak/Winter Storm Warning ⚠️

It’s moving due west and it’s filling in out in front of it. I see the same thing! The bands near kingsville are joining the massive band of snow in San Antonio. Therefore it’s literally a wall of snow that will be coming straight at us. I would say the whole viewing area is gonna get it big time! :D

LMAO My bad!

It would help to know where your at exactly. 🙄
Look at the image.... it clearly says Richmond, TX. You can also click on the username and determine location. Relax!

Re: October 2020: Tracking Hurricane Delta

This is no Laura. The models clearly don’t have a solid handle on this system. There are more variables at play. Keep watching everyone!

Re: October 2020: Tracking Hurricane Delta

Freeport, Matagorda Bay, and Galveston could be where landfall happens. I’m concerned that it’s too late in the game for it to make such a sharp turn. We need to keep a close eye and be prepared.

Re: August 2020: Tracking Laura

I just went outside here in Atascocita to bring in Patio chairs and it seem very still and quiet and eerie , no birds and my neighbors dog did not even bark or come out his house. He normally comes running and barking at the gate. Animals have a sixth sense. Maybe Laura will come much closer to Hou...

Re: August 2020: Tracking Laura

According to radar returns Laura is still very much wobbling. She will travel wnw for a bit, and then nw. At the moment I'm seeing another wnw movement. If this storm does not make that turn soon to remove most of any westerly component areas between Galveston and the border need to pay close atten...

Re: August 2020: Tracking Laura

I understand what the NHC has stated, and what is expected re: curvature and why. However, if you following the line of movement (see figure in that post) of the CoC over the last 24 hours it's rectilinear, not curvilinear. The NHC is going off degree of movement measured by aircraft recon. Hard to...

Re: August 2020: Tracking Laura

We definitely need to watch this closely because around this time is when Rita totally went off of the forecast. At this point I don’t see a real turn yet. Does anyone have anything that indicates the ridge may be stronger than expected? The turn has already begun - it’s very gradual. It was moving...

We definitely need to keep an eye on this lil guy which could end up being "Ian". Anything in the gulf this time of year is dangerous. ;)

This shows the system missing the trough and heading more our way. Interesting. It's never over until it's over.
