Most models have Lake Jackson around the 8-11F range Tuesday morning, only the Euro is warmer that I've seen. Will depend on clearing and how strong the winds are.

Seeing forecasts of less than 0.25 inch of ice and less than 0.3 inches of snow forecast in my area. So lame.... I'm in the same boat..almost like why bother putting us in a warning lol just cut the Coastal counties off It's a winter storm warning not a snow warning. Precip forecast has been trendi...

18z GFS shows a pattern that would favor cold from Dec 22 through New Year's. Major Ice storm across Central/North TX.

This is not supported by the soundings, now it probably won't stick but there should be flakes falling.

Any amounts close to that will break the US record for rainfall in a 24 hr period. My apologies on the last post. That was for the next 72 hours (through Tuesday) what the NAM 3km was showing. 25F in my area near the coast in what will be the coldest morning since Feb 2011. The forecasts from a couple of days ago look laughable at this point.
