Re: Hurricane Isaac: TS Watch Extended To E Of High Island

So are we out of the woods yet? Are any of the models showing a westward movement after making landfall? I don't remember which model, I think on Sunday either the GFS or the Euro showed it making landfall in LA and then move west across to Houston. Honeslty Jack, I have no idea...There are alot of...

Re: Tropical Storm Isaac: TS Watch Extended To E Of High Isl

Yep, and 'ole Joe Bastardi can rest easy now!!!!!!!!!!! Thank god. That man has been driving me nuts on Twitter. Not bashing him by any means, because he is a good meteorologist. He is just obviously on the 'bias' side of things and has not done well at all with the forecast of Isaac. Hope he can g...

Re: Tropical Storm Isaac: TS Watch Extended To E Of High Isl

I dont know if any of you like or read up on Joe Bastardi but I am laughing at his tweets. The man is going to blow a gasket over the NHC not calling Isaac a Hurricane. He has been doing this since yesterday and he is really upset..LOL I am suprised he has not called them out on it...

Re: Tropical Storm Isaac: TS Watch Extended To E Of High Isl

This is stumping me. Either NHC is being cautious by extending that watch west or something is going on. What I dont get is why extend to be cautious if everything is pointing to a New Orleans area hit...Yes there was a wobble to the west during the night but everyone seems to not be making a big d...

Re: February Weather. Snow/Sleet/Ice/Winter Storm Warning

Well we had snow on the cars and some on the front porch but mostly ice. Heard that Waller had more snow but not sure. We might take a drive out there later this afternoon to see and let the kids see it. I know it is very cold out here..Went outside to slide in the street with the kids and only stay...
