Re: September 2022

Yeah. 11 AM games suck. I used to be in the Aggie Band and it's a nonstop marathon all danged morning for those early games. I started tailgating about 3 hours ago for our 11 am kick tomorrow. God Bless Bourbon and Football! Nothing better than starting the tailgate 24 hours prior! Gig'em and Whoop!

Harris County gauge at White Oak Bayou and Fairbanks shows 2.40" last night. It was heavy!

Re: August 2022

At 5:12, I received a text from HCFWS that White Oak Bayou @ Fairbanks North Houston recorded 1.0 inch of rain in 15 minutes.
I can attest to this as I was driving on Fairbanks during that time.

It was an awesome game! The Yankees come into town Thursday for 1 game and Verlander and Cole are supposed to be pitching against each other!

Quick question - what is the time frame for the front coming in? Our AC went out and I really don't want to get a hotel room for tonight. I would rather open the windows. Thank you!

Damn, he could actually make it a cat 1... Yep and my call of Matagorda (and I meant the town, not the whole bay) will be pretty close. I need to start getting paid for this. J/K. :D On a fishing board I'm a member of, I said low Cat 1 at Sargent. I said Sargent only because we have a house in Port...

And Hurricane Carla hit in September 1961. Oh yeah, that one..LOL Imo Carla was the last real storm to hit all of our area. Alicia and Ike didn’t do much to the western half of the viewing area. Carla was a bad one. Went in at Port Lavaca and took out my cousin's barns in Vanderbilt. Homes all arou...

Re: July 2021

Our bay house in Calhoun County received over 17" since Saturday. Saturday wasn't much at all, just a few sprinkles and a beautiful double rainbow over Carancahua Bay. Sunday had a hard rain, maybe 2" max. Monday, when we left that afternoon, it hadn't rained at all. So basically from Mond...
