The 00z GFS is bit colder and has that trof pull a bit of that energy from that disturbance that develops in sw texas GOM. It shows a trace of rain while temperatures are plummeting to freezing. Tuesday - high chance of rain and after cold front pushes that night into the morning, rain will linger and high pressure will continue to push cold air south. According to 12 GFS, we could see well below normal temps after tuesday, and its confident of that.

According to GFS, after this weekend, we should be at or below normal temperature for highs & lows at least for the first 2 week of oct., as a favorable pattern for surging cold air from canada has set up across the eastern half of the US.
