Re: January 2025

2 AM and still just ice/sleet in Sienna. Frankly, I'm getting a little concerned about the amount of ice that's forming out here. It's already glazed just about everything above ground in a cover of ice. Wasn't expecting this much freezing rain?

Re: July 2024

Bust for us too. As usual, it’ll be a Louisiana event. We’ve had 90% rain chances all week but we’ve barely got 2 inches total since Sunday.

Re: Hurricane Beryl

Really surprised Fort Bend isn’t under a hurricane warning with the new track. Looks like we’ll literally get the eye now in Sienna.

Re: Hurricane Beryl

Looks like the due north movement has either begun or is about to. I was frankly hoping for another half-degree of separation west, but guess this thing's coming in by Sargent like it or not!

Re: Hurricane Beryl

Why do these storms always come ashore at night?? Gonna be a long night with the kids, and we are almost certain to lose power given our neighborhood history

Convection is really starting to fill in around the eye, and some hot towers are firing all around the east semicircle. Heads up…

Really not liking that almost due north movement from the last two center fixes. Probably moving at 345 degrees or so.

Fort Bend County should be under a Hurricane Warning IMHO.
I agree, but we’re not - at least not yet!

Re: Hurricane Beryl

For whatever reason, maybe the remaining dry air, but fortunately it can’t seem to generate much convection or a dense CDO. Hopefully this means the chances is RI are significantly lessened!
