I'm glad we don't have to deal with surge and wind but dang it, I keep seeing our rain opportunities drying up much like my front lawn. Cold front rain usually is down to a drizzle once they pass the I10 corridor. I'm just losing all hope to seeing anything significant anytime soon

I'll believe itvwhen I see it....anytime we get these types of predictions of heavy rains I get like 3 drops.....

Wow. I got almost an inch in my yard on Monday and my grass already has that water me look.

My mom lives in Friendswood and said they have had some good downpours all day long. She said Alvin has had some nice showers too

I noticed the spin too.

My part of the bay had some swirling mist that lasted about five minutes then it got breezy. Now it's just meh...but then again it's not 100 degrees with no wind so that is pretty great. I would hate to drag my sprinkler out but I'm thinking about it

Neither of those blobs look very impressive to me. Hope one of them gives us some rain but I'm watering my yard tomorrow morning anyway. txflagwaver, thanks for the info.. I'm ok with a blob fizzling out rather than exploding into a strong storm but it would be nice to get a few days of steady rains...

I was hoping formore than an inch.... Don't these blobs usually dump some heavy tropical rains?? Oh well....

As of now there are two invests 92L and now 93L out in the Atlantic. Not sure if they will ever make it to a named storms but the tropics seem to be showing signs of life.

Last two rainmaking opportunities left 0.00 in my yard so I really am not going to get hopeful for this front....and probably N of I10 wil probably have a better chance anyway.

No rain today here but not too far from me got a good soaking. Same thing yesterday but I did get at least a few sprinkles. I'd rather pull around a sprinkler than deal with a hurricane. A nice rainy depression or low end TS would be nice....just no Allison....
