Have light snow coming down now just north of thewoodlands

They are getting a decent snowstorm towards San Antonio and Del Rio. Normally I’d be excited but at this point I want warm weather back. I don’t care if it snows or not just keep the lights on please. A friend in New Braunfels said she had over an inch of fresh snow on the patio about an hour ago.....

Just noticed they updated the NWS website to mention heavy snow del rio - rock springs - uvalde.. 3-8 inches expected.. so what have we here?

Solid layer of ice on cars, icicles forming on everything.. pine trees are starting to turn white... Limbs are starting to droop.. 242 and gosling north of the woodlands

I would be in line with the lake conroe band but just off to its nnw and I am still getting a steady light snow here

I'm kinda amazed at how steadily the snow is still coming down... On radar the precip moved out a long time ago.. kinda thought it would shut off when that back edge got here but it's still snowing

On radar it looks like precip has moved out of my area but it's actually still snowing here pretty good..

Can anyone confirm light snow in conroe right now.. the airport is reporting snow on NWS weather.gov

I drove to College Station this morning about an hour from my house and I can confirm 4-6" of complete and total awesomeness here right now

Burst of sleet at 242 and I-45 north of the woodlands

Already saw some ice snow graupel mixing with the rain here at 242 and I-45.. montgomery county

Looked to just make a westward move on radar, seems to be building in nicely on that NW side

Doesn't look like the center has been moving much.

Kinda get the feeling this thing might just head up 59 once it gets moving again. Boy this looks potentially nasty to me..

I think the potential exists for tomorrow night to be the main event as the center passes overhead. Not a forecast - just a thought. I agree, the next wave to watch will be during morning rush hour as a new feeder band moves in during D MAX. But the biggest potential for flooding seems to be tomorr...
