Re: January: Strong Arctic Front/Winter Storm Warning/Adviso

EWX now forecasting up to a half inch of snow accumulation for the Austin metro area by morning. Significant upgrade in anticipated winter weather conditions compared to late afternoon forecast. Obviously there was never any doubt it would be cold enough but apparently there is more moisture for y'...

Re: February 5-28, 2011 Discussion: Another Arctic Blast ?

Any chance this system can dive East like the rest of our freakin systems did this year? Didn't think I would say it but I'm ready to start mowing and I wouldn't mind being able to fish and just go outside, I think I'm about done with winter also  today was a nice warm up and just a nice day o...

Re: February 6-28, 2011 Discussion: Another Artic Blast ?

for some reason I can't get excited... Me neither. I hate disappointment. Now I had to have a day off from school, which is pointless with ice and no snow. Katy ISD has already said there is a makeup day that will ruin the four day weekend we orignally had on the Katy schedule. Is there anyth...
