Re: May 2024
I personally think most of the rain will focused in north and eastern texas, still think we see maybe some activity though, i do agree with the WPC outlook, but personally central and western texas need the rain way more than we do, lets send it that way lol Watch me get another quarter or half inc...

Sunday and Monday are trending wetter. Ridiculously big difference from the Euro and GFS. CMC is closer to the Euro.

Re: May 2024
The transition from La Nina to El Nino in June 2023 really shut down rain in CLL and turned this place into a blast furnace. Even the crawfish suffered terribly. Up here soggy conditions in the Spring could bode well temperature-wise for the summer. We'll see. We will have a greater chance of tropi...

Re: May 2024
I'm in Euro's corner for this round.... The Euro has been far more accurate of the models and HRRR hasn't been bad on the mesos. The transition from La Niña to El Niño sees to be allowing more energy further south than the last 10 years (on average). The weather has been more like the 90s. A bit we...

Re: May 2024
The SPC has already placed the northern parts of southeast Texas in a 15% chance for severe weather on Thursday. Large hail and damaging winds should be the main threats. They better not. 2nd attempt at my flight out for an interview is Thursday. They have. Might end up being an enhanced risk by th...

Re: May 2024
Pretty big difference once again between the Euro and GFS. Euro says more rain is on the way and GFS not so much.

Re: 2024 Hurricane Season Discussion
The latest Euro forecast is predicting 250 ACE points. Sheesh.. Yeah at this point it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find some blaring failure modes for this upcoming hurricane season. But of course, like I mentioned on Storm2K at the beginning of the year, there will be patterns and unforese...

I hope we don’t get any rain. Yard is a bit of a mud hole. I just had a gorgeous patio installed from Starside Construction. So yes rain won’t fall on my head anymore but I need the yard to dry out. You’re probably gonna get some more rain later today. That stuff out by Victoria looks to be headed ...
