The only snow I got was in 2004 on Christmas eve...nothing since then If you’re in Kingwood, then you most certainly did. IAH was closed in January and I10 north got at least a...

Are we going to cool down anytime soon?
Yes. If you consider 40’s and 50’s for lows a cool down.

When is the next chance for any meaningful rain? I dont think I've seen any at my house since September.
I’m not sure but I can tell you the next two weeks look pretty dry so maybe sometime after that but I doubt it. Like I said a while back, I think we’re about to be in a drought.

They typically give us cold (not cold enough for wintry precip) and wet weather which gets in the bone...

Thank heavens such freezes are a thing of the past. Probably will never happen again.
I would love for that to happen again along with about two feet of snow. I’d be beyond excited but as I said before I love extreme events like that as long as there’s no deaths.

Re: November 2020

Eta is looking like a very serious storm. Could potentially impact the Gulf coast as well. Some of the model runs are bombing her out big time in the western Caribbean heading towards the Gulf.

Re: October 2020

Chalk this up to the first time in recent memory the models have UNDERESTIMATED the strength of a cool front. Yayyy!!! Meh, it's mostly the thick cloud cover doing the work. Not sure I’d say that. In Montgomery county my high tomorrow is 61 under sunny skies and dipping into the low 40’s tomorrow n...
