Re: NOVEMBER 2018: Freeze Warning Issued/Thanksgiving Outloo
My thermo has not reached above 39 here in Beaumont all day. I have a feeling the 45 high local mets forecasted are going to be a big bust. Too much cloud cover for a high of 45. Not gonna happen unless you get a break in the clouds which probably won’t happen till later this evening into the overn...

Re: NOVEMBER 2018: Freeze Warning Issued/Thanksgiving Outloo
The GFS and Euro disagree big time on next weeks rain event. The GFS has a flood and the Euro only has an inch or two.

Re: NOVEMBER 2018: Cold & Breezy/Freeze Possible Wednesday
Interesting indeed! If that can persist through the winter then we could be looking at potentially some fun times ahead, especially since we’re in an El Niño with an active STJ.tireman4 wrote:Interesting...

Re: NOVEMBER 2018: Chilly Raw WX/Freeze Possible Wednesday
The 12z Euro is very cold. Wednesday morning it has a freeze for all of SETX except the coastal counties and eastern counties and Thursday morning it has a freeze for all of us except for the immediate coastline. Mid to upper 20’s for many of us with several hours at or below freezing Thursday morni...

Re: NOVEMBER 2018: Rollercoaster Changeable WX Pattern Ahead
The FV3 has a huge front in about a week or so, but the GFS doesn’t have it. Which one to believe?

Re: OCTOBER 2018 - Stormy Halloween
So Friday and Saturday are shaping up to be nice. You guys said Sunday/Monday another strong(er?) system rolls through? The GFS says so, but the Euro doesn’t. Earlier on I was leaning towards the GFS solution, but not so much anymore because of the Euros persistence of saying no dice. I also happen...

Re: OCTOBER 2018 - Stormy Halloween
Next storm system coming in around Sunday/Monday could be even stronger than the current one. I have to think the above average sst’s in the western Gulf are helping to aid this.
