My pipes are pex but back of my house faces north and is about 10 feet above ground level with decks stepping down to ground. That w...

Re: February 2021: Arctic Outbreak/Winter Storm Warning ⚠️

I can't imagine how many downed trees I would have with 3/4 to 1" inch of freezing rain. That would be devastating.

Re: August 2020: Tracking Laura

With the western side seemingly expanding, what type of winds might be experienced in Central Liberty County if Laura exactly follows NHC projected path? (Not to mention any potential wobbles west.}

Re: July 2019: Warming Trend/Slight Chances For Rain

North America also lacks a true monsoonal cycle/seasonal wind belt shift as seen with other continents like Asia, Africa, and Australia. As a result, the continent remains very much at the mercy of the westerly jet stream, and emanating extremes in weather from its meridonals: Texas summer drought,...

Re: June 2019: Heavy Rainfall Likely/Flash Flood Threat/Severe Storms

The good news is that the heaviest rainfall has occurred away from the urban areas. It is also good news that the heaviest rains will be out of our hair tonight into tomorrow except for folks in the New Orleans area. More good news is a relative strong cool front arrives early next week with daytim...
