Well that was fun. Kids and the whole Neighborhood enjoyed the snow. Kids were saying this felt like Xmas . Lol.
Glad we finally got our shot . So how long before this happens again? Any bets?

Let's see if this a trend.

Re: January 2025
This is why I never get too excited about snow in Houston.
Things have to be almost for that to happen. When I see models showing snow 7-10 days out I don't buy it. Lucy has took that ball away way too much.

Re: What started your interest in weather?
I grew up in Galveston, so Alica is what sparked my interest in weather. So Hurricanes have always been fascinating to me. Also I lived in Tennessee for 2 years and the snow storms there also played a role with being a Weather guy for me.

Berly hit atascocita hard. Trees and power lines down everywhere. I am sure we will be without power for a few days.

Re: Hurricane Beryl
Looking like Freeport or a little east@ Cat 1. She running out of time ,which is a good thing. Hurricane models still say she will be strenghing until landfall, I just don't think so . I though at this point she will be a cat 1 already but she still struggling.
