I will say this... I was in Atlanta for the mayhem that was Snowocolypse and all of the meteorologist there were certain based on models that nothing would happen. The snow started earlier in the day from transitioning from light rain. It started to stick once wet bulbing took over. It got heavier ...

Freeport, Matagorda Bay, and Galveston could be where landfall happens. I’m concerned that it’s too late in the game for it to make such a sharp turn. We need to keep a close eye and be prepared. Chances of that happening are almost zero. Correct. Such a miss wouldn’t be just a failure of the model...

Not that it would make much difference in track , but it still looks like it’s moving more WNW then NW to me. Eyes may be tripping.

I just went outside here in Atascocita to bring in Patio chairs and it seem very still and quiet and eerie , no birds and my neighbors dog did not even bark or come out his house. He normally comes running and barking at the gate.

According to radar returns Laura is still very much wobbling. She will travel wnw for a bit, and then nw. At the moment I'm seeing another wnw movement. If this storm does not make that turn soon to remove most of any westerly component areas between Galveston and the border need to pay close atten...
