It is pouring at my house in Cypress right now, and I am not liking this current look to the radar.

Re: August 2020: Tracking Laura
What a monster. Hope everyone in the path of Laura has listened to evacuation notices if they are in those areas.

Re: August 2020: Tracking The Busy Tropics
Heading to Freeport in about 20 mins to get stuff together, and pull boats out. Looks like the Mayor & Hidalgo are having a press conference at 1.. Depending on what happens between now and then, you may want to expedite any plans to stock up here in the Houston area if you haven't done so alrea...

Re: August 2020: Tracking The Busy Tropics
Water was definitely running lower than normal at my local HEB this morning. If I were in the Golden Triangle, I'd be starting to make preparations today and hope they weren't needed. If needed, tomorrow I will go down to the house down near Freeport to start making preps as it will take a bit more ...

Re: July 2020
Coming down big time here in Cypress. Radar sure looks active for a system that "Houston area isn't going to see anything" from. Our place in Oyster Creek down by Freeport has been getting hammered all morning. Tides are extremely high, and white cap's coming down the canal from videos I h...

Man the satellite presentation is really impressive for a TD. I am thinking Recon will find what it needs to upgrade to Hannah this trip. D-Max should be interesting in the morning, and may catch some people by suprise. Hopefully not though..

Re: September 2019 - Imelda Remnants/Calmer WX Ahead
I'm sure the last thing the people between Winnie & Beaumont want to see is that N/S Band extending way out into the gulf. Hopefully the heavier stuff will stay off the coast & choke off the stuff on land. I've seen there were still rescues & stuff on going in the Hamshire area as of thi...

Re: September 2019 - Imelda Weakens. Flash Flood Watch/Heavy Rainfall Threat
Made it home from the office, and it has been raining hard here in Cypress ever since . CFISD & other school releases are likely going to be an issue here after while if it keeps up. Have picked up almost 2" over the last hour or so.
