Looks like Lake Charles can see what comes from southeast Texas and surrounding areas on the LCH radar again since repairs are finished from Hurricane Laura. Good thing ahead of storm season and the next hurricane season.

As bad as it was it could have been worse. What if Beta hit our area as a hurricane then rode the coast? Laura if it followed the western model/ensembles and hit Hou as a 4/5? New Orleans was the target several times in modeling too for the hurricanes.

Keep an eye on bright banding radar returns indicating sleet and or melting snow not far from the surface. Magnolia is not too far from my Klein area!

The NAM looks much better now. Back to what it showed early yesterday. Trending right. Seems like not having Montgomery county in the watch is hedging bets towards the lackluster gfs model.
