In the last couple frames of the satellite pics it looks like some convection trying to pop near the center. That could certainly aid in development.

I would expect the watches/warning to go up where the most immediate threat is. Then they will move as the threat moves. In other words I would expect watches/warning for most of LA as early as this afternoon when they initiate a pts statement. Not a forecast just a thought.

Ok pro mets looking at the water vapor it looks like an ULL has developed to the North East of Bill just off of the west coast of Florida. Will this ventilate or shear and what does it do to the stearing ridge?

Could someone verify whether or not it is the COC coming into range on the long range radar. If it is it sure looks to be a solid 315 degrees
